This Workshop is for parents and caregivers of people who have special needs. We will offer a safe space to share and connect with each other, to learn about the nervous system and stress regulation, have fun with exercises and music, and acquire practical skills to use to help us release, restore, and rejuvenate.

About our workshop leaders:

This workshop is facilitated by Corina Schad and Nicole Krutzke, both founding members of Mosaic Place, who each have three decades of experience of working with people with intellectual disabilities in Camphill communities as house parents, teachers, and music therapists. Over the last fifteen years they have also been training in and working as Awakening to Presence Integration Practitioners, a somatic coaching approach that works with the body and nervous system's innate ability to recover and return to an open and relaxed state of present moment awareness. Nicole and Corina both integrate the Awakening to Presence work into their offerings at Mosaic Place, where Corina also has her private practice, Presence in Mind and Body, offering coaching to individuals and groups. Nicole’s focus is to offer music, craft activities and cultural events to people of all abilities who come and gather at Mosaic place.
